The (very) low profile license plate light(s)

So, move back the license plate was quite easy (link),
the tricky bit is now light it up with "invisible" wires...
...looks like it is possible after all!

Light test.
Don't know what appened with the camera, but the light isn't that blue in reality.

Keep steampunking (AKA The Dirt-One oil cooler relocating)

Building some oil lines to relocate the oil cooler on The Dirt-One

Also had to modify the "in frame" oil tank a bit and build some custom adaptors and connectors to fit in the tightest spaces

The TR-1 alu-works and face lift

Starting from an old aluminium front fender

Also I raised the tank a bit and added two alu strips to enhance the short and mean look

Then, because I used a front fender as fairing, I had to make a new fender from scratch....genius.

So, hammer, english wheel, bead roller and welding machine...

Smoothed

Then the two legs

Unfortunately I've lost some pictures here, anyway, here it is after the welding job and some polishing

Everything mocked up, I think I will shorten the new fender a bit

Post-apocalyptically mean?

The Dirt-One acid engraved logo

Still working on refreshing the engine look on The Dirt-One, so me and my friend Feib from "Genuine alien technology" decided to try something a bit different and use acid engraving to "print" a custom made logo on the cam belt cover.
After several attempts, this is the first result

The cool part is that it change a bit depending on the light and it will age along with the bike varying colors and shapes.

More acid-works to come.
Thanks a lot Feib!

The Dirt-One fork guards

A good excuse to test some new tools...

Ok, I know it isn't that much without the engine in, but I'm working on that too...

Nomad

Almost ready to take everything apart on this one too. Hopefully.  If I don't come up with some last minute overcomplicated stupid idea ...
