Not an easy starting point, but a "beefy" one for sure. This would be a lot of fun!

It would probably been faster/easier to build a new tank from scratch than repair and modify an old beaten up Norton aluminium tank, but it's worth it to have a piece of history on the bike I guess... 

Twelve litres at the end, not too bad

And yes, the engine is running too
