I don't like ball bearings very much and the fork axle have seen better days.. so to kill two bird with one stone the easyest thing to do is to make a new fork axle to match new tapered roller bearings.

In order to clean and check the rear wheel I've taken it apart
But now I'm thinking about making a new light-weight/rust-free aluminium wheel hub...

The Sonic bench
Thanks to Michele who has built this simple but very effective bike bench.
He is also the first owner of the Sonic!

It is a little too clean for a workshop... but it won't last long.
Looking at the first picture I think this is almost the right position for the front wheel.
I need to find a way to lower the front a bit... any ideas?
