The sumo (the beginning)

This is (was) my sister's bike, a '93 Honda CBR 600F. Heavy, scratchy and clunky, but it's still a bike.. One of the previous owners changed all the fairings with fiberglass ones, but it really wasn't a good job...

So, I started to "add lightness" removing, as usual,  fairings and seat and adding a solo seat from a Triumph Thruxton Cup kit

Then I've made some experiments with "fine" Potoshop actions....

Here with my favourite pin-up model...

Then comes the 70's fairing, a classic cone exhaust and a single "sided" headlamp from a speed triple

Looking good, but still too modern.. Let's find out another 70's goodie

 Needs some adjustments..

Here we go!

Now it's time to dismantle the bike to the bare frame and start "THE SUMO" project
Continue...sooner or later

TREASURE FINDING

This is what you can find in a top floor (if you are very lucky) disassembled in small pieces, covered with dust, spider webs and bat's guano...

It's a 1941 (probably) Harley Davidson WL. Unfortunately there is no engine...and it also missed the sidecar, but it has the original number plate and all the papers.
At the moment it's at "Rat Bike Service" garage (http://www.ratbikeservice.com  http://ratbikeservice.blogspot.com) to figure out what to do.

The only sure thing it's that it will be a very large money hole

I'd like to turn it into something like this

This is probably the best looking bobber I've ever seen
It's a 1200 'U' by James of "Custom from Jamesville"

He's always very busy, but you can find him here: http://customsfromjamesville.blogspot.com/

I'd also like something like this "contaminated" bobber...
or, why not, something like this rat Shovelhead by RatBike service

I'm confused... this is not my world, but I can't ignore this sign from the "God of bikes"...

The Sumo

A little preview of the new project

Nomad

Almost ready to take everything apart on this one too. Hopefully.  If I don't come up with some last minute overcomplicated stupid idea ...
